ABOUT ME - a touch of freedom

My name is Simone Freiheit, and art and creativity have always been a constant part of my life, just like nature has. I grew up in the countryside by Holme Å, surrounded by wildlife and open spaces. Nature became my sanctuary and my greatest source of inspiration. I have hunting license and love the quiet mornings when the world wakes up and anything feels possible.

Alongside my university education, I pursued my passion for art at BGK (Billedkunstnerisk Grundkursus) in Esbjerg. Here, my understanding of materials and styles was honed by skilled teachers. Over the years, I have participated in countless courses, especially in drawing and painting, which have given me both technical skills and a deeper love for my craft.

I have also had 11 exciting years in HR and marketing, where I learned to juggle many balls and develop in dynamic communities. But all these experiences have led me to one place: The courage to share my art with the world and the belief that I can make a living from what I love.

If I had to cut to the chase, there are two things that truly fill my heart: helping women find their inner strength and opening more eyes to the magic of nature. There is so much happiness in the small, simple joys – like listening to birdsong in the early morning or feeling the wind on your cheek. That kind of happiness is right outside our door, if we dare to stop and see it. It is a feeling I try to capture and share through my art.
